Enjoyed the site Susie. You have done a great job with some really great ideas. I will pass it on to others.
It was interesting to see this post. I have white walls and a grey/blue carpet. I was drawn to your photo’s because I am thinking of painting my walls a very pale shade of my rug to get a monotone palette. For summer I thought I would use yellow for my bed and curtains. You have inspired me to go forward with my plan. Just hope I can get the color for the walls right!
Hi there! Glad my images could inspire you! Pull a shade of gray out of your rug by matching a paint chip to it. If you find a shade that matches your rug that is too dark, remember that you can always have it tinted a shade or two lighter. Benjamin Moore has a great selection of grays to choose from. To save a few $$’s take the paint chip to Home Depot to have it color matched to Behr Ultra which is a great paint! Good luck with your project, I’m sure it will turn out great!
